Please check mods in world settings. Messages: 4. Hello I'm Sparky and I've been trying to play Space Engineers with mods via Steam and mods via Steam Workshop. So I'm having this problem when I try to download and play with mods alone or when I try to connect to any server that has mods in it, and I keep getting this error "Downloading mods has failed! I looked all over the internet for a solution, but nothing seems to work for me.
It's quite weird because I have The Elder Scrolls Skyrim, which I can play with mods just fine I have over 50 mods installed for that gamebut when it comes to Space Engineers it just wont work. I'm trying to play with my friend, and he says that the game is so much better with mods, and he has no problems connecting to servers with mods or hosting his own server with mods, and neither does his friends.
Also I see alot people gets this error, but it seems to be caused by different things. Some people say space engineers dedicated server unable to download mods the mods they try to download are outdated, others say that antivirus or something else is blocking it. But really nothing works for me. I feel I have tried everything. I have turned off my anti virus and tried launching or joining a game with mods, and I still get this error. As far as I'm concerned nothing on my computer is blocking the download of mods from Steam workshop.
I tried reinstalling the game and I still get the error. I tried different types of mods, but I still get this error. I tried the most up to date mods aswell.

If you see anything that is colored in red, that means the Mod was removed by the author and can't be downloaded. It will be a numeric string like " If this is the case you can either remove the red one from the list, or find its filename in your space engineers mods folder next to your save location, change it's extension to.

Connected to the his dedicated server and PRESTO! it worked!!!! I am not sure if this is a caching issue or whatnot, but the files never actually downloaded as the folder was continuously empty.
